Youngstown State University

Seventeen Youngstown State University students were named recipients of the 2015-16 Judge Sidney Rigelhaupt and Attorney Bert Rigelhaupt Pre-Law Scholarship, funded by a $1 million trust held by the Farmers Trust Co. and intended to help YSU students from Mahoning and Trumbull counties who plan to attend law school after earning their undergraduate degrees from YSU.

Six YSU business students have been selected as the John D. Beeghly Fellows for the 2014 Fall Semester. The program provides students with up to a $2,500 stipend and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with clients of the Ohio Small Business Development Center and the International Trade Assistance Center at YSU.

Nearly 800 Youngstown State University students have received awards through the YSU Scholarships for Excellence program.
