YSU student Heidi Summerlin of Aurora, Ohio, presents research at QUEST

Youngstown State University student Heidi Summerlin of Aurora, Ohio, made a presentation at the annual QUEST research conference on the YSU campus.

Summerlin is majoring in History at YSU. The presentation was titled: The Evolution of Dissent: Student Protest Before and After the Occupation of Columbia University, April 1968..

QUEST, which this year celebrated its 25th anniversary, showcases the scholarly achievements of YSU undergraduate and graduate students. The event includes research and scholarship in all forms - scientific findings, musical scores, engineering designs and analyses, panel discussions, poetry readings, dance performances, honors and senior theses, study abroad experiences, and more.
