Troy Schaltenbrand of Allison Park, Pa., stars in the production of "Celebrating 50 Years of University Theater: A Musical Commemoration" at Youngstown State University.

The show, which runs Nov. 8, 9 10, 15, 16 and 17, features live music showcasing the more than 200 productions produced by University Theater since its inception 50 years ago. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m., while Sunday matinee performances are at 2 p.m. Performances are in Ford Theater on the YSU campus.

Schaltenbrand , a Senior studying Music Ed Instrumental at YSU, plays Percussion in the production.
