Steven Jeffries represents YSU at Global Leadership Summit

Steven Jeffries of New Castle, Pa., a member of the Youngstown State University chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, was among 10 students representing YSU at the international business honorary's Global Leadership Summit in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Jeffries is a junior Pre Business Accounting major in YSU's Williamson College of Business Administration.

The Global Leadership Summit is a national conference where students from all over the world learn about current issues facing business.

Beta Gamma Sigma is an international business honor society available exclusively to AACSB accredited schools, and only undergraduate students in the top 10 percent and graduate students in the top 20 percent qualify for entry.

YSU's WCBA is among only 6 percent of business schools around the globe that have the AACSB accreditation. The YSU Beta Gamma Sigma chapter was installed on June 11, 2000 and, to date, the chapter has inducted 686 students into this prestigious organization.
