Shelby Pontera honored on YSU's Track and Field team

Shelby Pontera of West Middlesex, Pa., is a member of the Youngstown State University Penguins Women's Track and Field team that received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors this year.

The women' program posted a 3.20 grade-point average to be recognized for their classroom efforts. YSU was among a group of 220 Division I women's programs to be honored.

Pontera participates in Distance events on the team and is in the Dental Hygine program at YSU.
