Sarah Mercer honored at YSU Department of Communication Awards Banquet

Sarah Mercer of New Middletown, Ohio, a Junior at Youngstown State University, received the Academic Achievement Award at the Department of Communication Annual Awards Banquet. Mercer is studying Communication Studies at YSU.

"Recognizing student achievements is integral to program and department morale," said Adam Earnheardt, department chair. "The more we see and hear about the amazing things our students and faculty accomplish, the more other faculty and students then become engaged in the next great research projects, art installations, musical or theatrical interpretations."
