Samuel Gregory will perform with YSU Dana Chorale on South Korean tour

Samuel Gregory of Pittsburgh, PA (15108), is one of 25 student vocalists and members of the Youngstown State University Dana Chorale who will travel to South Korea in May for an 11-day educational and performance tour. Gregory, a Moon Area High School graduate, is studying Music Education at YSU.

The trip, scheduled for May 8 to 19, is believed to be the first time that an ensemble from YSU's Dana School of Music has performed in Asia. Members of the chorale, under the direction of Hae-Jong Lee, will also travel with three other faculty members. They will be involved in cultural exchanges, performances and student recruitment.

The group plans to visit Seoul, Cheongju, Samcheok, Changwon and Busan, and will perform at Sejong University, Chungbuk National University, Changwon National University.
