Samantha Anderson selected to present at national honors conference

Senior Youngstown State University student Samantha Anderson of Poland, Ohio, was selected to present at the 51st Annual Conference of the National Collegiate Honors Council in Seattle, Wash., this semester.

Anderson, a member of the Honors College and a Finance major at YSU, presented in the student poster session "The Financial Implications of Healthcare Mandates on Small Businesses in Ohio," which assesses the risk and financial impact on small businesses that follow the Affordable Care Act mandate to provide health insurance to their employees.

NCHC is the professional association of undergraduate honors programs and colleges. The annual conference brings together directors, faculty members and students to celebrate a broad and diverse collegiate honors community through presentation sessions, speakers, trainings, special events and more.
