Samantha Anderson awarded Beeghly Fellowship at YSU

Youngstown State University senior Samantha Anderson of Youngstown, Ohio, has been chosen as a John D. Beeghly Fellow for Fall 2016.

Anderson, a Finance major, is one of six Williamson College of Business Administration students selected under the program, which provides participants with paid fellowships working at the Ohio Small Business Development Center at YSU.

Beeghly was a lifelong resident and businessman in Youngstown, and the fellowships are made possible by an endowment established at the YSU Foundation by Beeghly's wife and children.

At the Small Business Development Center, Anderson and the other Beeghly Fellows will gain experience in marketing research, preparing financial statements, export readiness studies, country research, business plan development, cash flow analysis and other career-related topics.
