Ryan Roush top runner in Honors College benefit

Ryan Roush of Canfield, Ohio, was one of the top two runners in the first Youngstown State University Honors College "Y Are You Running?" 5K run/walk. The event, held recently on the YSU campus, raised $2,800 for local charities.

Roush, a graduate of South Range High School, is a Physical Therapy major and was the top male runner.

The top male and female finishers were each awarded $1,400 to donate to the Valley charity of their choice. Roush chose to donate to the Midlothian Free Health Clinic in Youngstown.

More than 200 runners participated in the race, which was sponsored by HBK CPAs and Consultants.
