Nicole Zimmerman awarded freshman scholarship at YSU

Nicole Zimmerman of Warren, OH, is one of more than 400 Youngstown State University freshmen awarded Honors, Provost and Housing scholarships to start the Fall Semester.

Zimmerman, a Champion High School graduate and Mathematics major at YSU, was awarded the Honors Program Scholarship and Honors Housing Scholarship.

Honors Scholarships and Honors Housing Scholarships both range from $2,000 to $3,000, and recipients become part of YSU's prestigious University Honors College. Provost Scholarships range from $4,000 to $6,000 and recognize high-achieving out-of-state students.

Housing awards, including the Housing Experience Scholarship, the Housing Excellence Scholarship and the President's Residential Scholarship, range from $2,000 to $5,550.
