Monica Busser represents YSU at national MathFest

Monica Busser of Hubbard, Ohio (44425), was one of 15 Youngstown State University students presenting recently at MathFest 2017 in Chicago, the annual summer meeting of the Mathematical Association of America and Pi Mu Epsilon. Busser is a Mathematics major.

Two YSU students - Monica Busser of Hubbard, Ohio, and Christine Langer of North Canton, Ohio, earned awards for excellence in student exposition and research. Busser presented research titled "Induced Representations," and Langer's presentation was titled "Surprising Nontransitive Games." It's the third consecutive year that Busser won an award at MathFest,
