Mariah Carna selected for Ohio Export Internship Program

Mariah Carna of New Bedford, PA, is one of eight Youngstown State University students chosen to participate in the Ohio Export Internship Program this year.

Carna, majoring in Pre Business Management at YSU, and the others selected for the program, have taken export-focused coursework. They will be matched with businesses interested in exporting.

In the five years since the program began, 144 student-company matches have been created, resulting in more than $26 million in expected global sales and 25 full-time job offers to students. The program is a partnership between the Ohio Development Services Agency, YSU and Ohio State.
