Madeline Grimes selected to present at national honors conference

Junior Youngstown State University student Madeline Grimes of Vienna, Ohio, was selected to present at the 51st Annual Conference of the National Collegiate Honors Council in Seattle, Wash., this semester.

Grimes, a member of the Honors College and a Business Individual Curriculum Program major at YSU, presented on a Student Interdisciplinary Research Panel. Her presentation, "Validation of Symphony Orchestras in the Twenty-First Century: A Tri-City Evaluation Through Financial, Socioeconomic, and Marketing Technique Analysis," evaluates business practices of the arts industry.

NCHC is the professional association of undergraduate honors programs and colleges. The annual conference brings together directors, faculty members and students to celebrate a broad and diverse collegiate honors community through presentation sessions, speakers, trainings, special events and more.
