Madeline Grimes performs with YSU's Flute Studio

Madeline Grimes of Vienna, Ohio , will be one of 15 student musicians in the spotlight when Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music presents a recital by Kathryn Thomas Umble's Flute Studio at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, in Bliss Recital Hall pn campus.

Grimes, majoring in Individual Curriculum Program at YSU, will perform on flute.

The group will perform a repertoire that includes both classical and contemporary selections from composers Gaubert, Clarke, Telemann, Taktakishvili and Bolling among others.

Parking is available in the M30 Wick Avenue parking deck via Walnut Street for a nominal fee. Patrons are advised to watch for posted detours as construction progresses on Wick Avenue. More information is available by calling the Office of Community Engagement and Events at 330-941-2307.
