Leah Bayer selected to present at national honors conference

Sophomore Youngstown State University student Leah Bayer of Brookfield, Ohio, was selected to present at the 51st Annual Conference of the National Collegiate Honors Council in Seattle, Wash., this semester.

Bayer, a member of the Honors College and a Mathematics major at YSU, co-presented "Rebuilding a Better City" in the Idea Exchange on Service Learning session, detailing the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand.

NCHC is the professional association of undergraduate honors programs and colleges. The annual conference brings together directors, faculty members and students to celebrate a broad and diverse collegiate honors community through presentation sessions, speakers, trainings, special events and more.
