Kathleen H. Smith of Boardman, Ohio, receives YSU Pin Award

Kathleen H. Smith of Boardman, Ohio, a senior at Youngstown State University, has received the YSU Pin Award.

The award annually recognizes graduating seniors who have achieved academic success and demonstrated outstanding leadership, motivation and creativity in university and community activities.
Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding leadership in YSU campus life through participation in a variety of campus activities and community-wide service projects. They also must have demonstrated character and integrity in their role as a YSU student leader and a minimum accumulative grade point average of 3.0.
