John Cruz of Mineral Ridge, OH, is a cast member in "Dark Matters," the latest production of University Theater at Youngstown State University.

Cruz is a junior majoring in Musical Theater at YSU.

"Dark Matters," a thriller, will be performed Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6, 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. in Spotlight Arena Theater in Bliss Hall on the campus of Youngstown State University. For tickets, call 330-941-3105.

This season marks the 49th consecutive year of University Theater's existence as a co-curricular theater-producing agency on the YSU campus. YSU is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre.
