Herman Horkey honored at YSU Department of Communication Awards Banquet

Herman Horkey of Hubbard, Ohio, a Sophomore at Youngstown State University, received the Via 680 Student Excellence Award at the Department of Communication Annual Awards Banquet. Horkey is studying Telecommunication at YSU.

"Recognizing student achievements is integral to program and department morale," said Adam Earnheardt, department chair. "The more we see and hear about the amazing things our students and faculty accomplish, the more other faculty and students then become engaged in the next great research projects, art installations, musical or theatrical interpretations."
