Hannah Sprowl top runner in Honors College benefit

Hannah Sprowl of Sebring, OH, was one of the top two runners in the first Youngstown State University Honors College "Y Are You Running?" 5K run/walk. The event, held recently on the YSU campus, raised $2,800 for local charities.

Sprowl, a graduate of West Branch High School, is a Pre Dental Hygiene major and was the top female runner.

The top male and female finishers were each awarded $1,400 to donate to the Valley charity of their choice. Sprowl chose to donate to the Akron Children's Hospital in Boardman.

More than 200 runners participated in the race, which was sponsored by HBK CPAs and Consultants.
