Emily Erb named Presidential Mentor at YSU

Emily Erb of Canfield, Ohio (44406), is one of 24 Youngstown State University students named to the Presidential Mentors Program for the 2017-18 academic year. Erb is a Psychology major.

The Presidential Mentors Program provides a key opportunity to connect university leadership with a diverse group of students to provide insight regarding the student experience at YSU.

Nominees must be currently enrolled, have achieved upper-class status and be in good standing with YSU.

Students chosen for the program will constitute a student leadership team which will meet with President Jim Tressel monthly throughout the academic year. Students will provide input on critical campus issues, including academic programs, international program development, recruitment, admission, retention, marketing and others.
