Caroline Walsh awarded first-year scholarship at YSU

Youngstown State University has awarded a first-year scholarship to Caroline Walsh of Youngstown, OH, a Ursuline High School graduate and a Political Science major at YSU.

Walsh received the MLK Merit Scholarship.

The MLK Merit Award is a $1,000 merit-based award for new high school graduates of local inner-city schools, and the Trailblazer Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship for freshmen that aims to encourage outstanding students from diverse backgrounds.
