Brooke Fusco of Canfield named prestigious University Scholar at Youngstown State University

Brooke Fusco of Canfield, OH, a senior at South Range High School, has been named a University Scholar at Youngstown State University - the most prestigious scholarship at the university.

The Leslie H. Cochran University Scholars Award, now in its 19th year, covers full tuition, room and board, as well as a voucher for textbooks. Fusco is among only 40 high school seniors from Ohio and Pennsylvania, including 22 valedictorians, to receive the award this year. Fusco will major in Secondary Math Education.

The new class of University Scholars was presented Friday, May 13, to YSU President Cynthia E. Anderson at a luncheon on campus.
