Briana Scott inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma business honorary at Youngstown State University

2015 Mar 9

Briana Scott of Youngstown, Ohio, a student in Youngstown State University's Williamson College of Business Administration, has been inducted into Beta Gama Sigma, the world's premier business honor society.

Scott is a Sophomore student at YSU, majoring in Accounting.

Students were inducted at a ceremony on campus. Beta Gamma Sigma is reserved exclusively for students attending business schools accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. While nearly 350,000 students receive bachelors or master's degrees in business each year, only about 25,000 are inducted into a lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. To be eligible, students must rank in the top 10 percent of the sophomore, junior or senior classes or the top 20 percent of the master's program.

The Williamson College of Business Administration now has inducted 647 students.
