Ashley Labatte takes part in sorority event to fight cancer

Ashley Labatte of Youngstown, Ohio, a Sophomore at Youngstown State University, participated recently in Zeta Tau Alpha's 16th annual Pink Ribbon Classic, an event that raised more than $107,000 for breast cancer research. Labatte, a Biology Pre Medical major, is a member of the sorority.

Sponsored by the Zeta Gamma and the Youngstown Alumnae chapters of Zeta Tau Alpha, the Pink Ribbon Classic is a non-competitive event that gives cheerleading squads from across the region the opportunity to showcase their talents while raising funds to fight breast cancer. In its 16-year tenure the event has raised over $1.3 million.
