Ashley Amendol awarded freshman scholarship at YSU

Ashley Amendol of Youngstown, OH, is one of more than 400 Youngstown State University freshmen awarded Honors, Provost and Housing scholarships to start the Fall Semester.

Amendol, a Austintown Fitch High School graduate and Biology Pre Medical major at YSU, was awarded the Honors Housing Scholarship.

Honors Scholarships and Honors Housing Scholarships both range from $2,000 to $3,000, and recipients become part of YSU's prestigious University Honors College. Provost Scholarships range from $4,000 to $6,000 and recognize high-achieving out-of-state students.

Housing awards, including the Housing Experience Scholarship, the Housing Excellence Scholarship and the President's Residential Scholarship, range from $2,000 to $5,550.
