Antwanaijah Burgess selected for Navarro Executive Fellows program at YSU

Antwanaijah Burgess of Campbell, OH, is one of 17 minority students named to the inaugural class of the Navarro Executive Fellows program at Youngstown State University.

The program, offered for the first time this fall, is named in honor of philanthropists Shorty and Elba Navarro, who this year donated $1 million to fund scholarships and campus jobs for students at YSU.

Burgess, Medical Laboratory Technology major, will spend up to 15 hours a week with Holly Jacobs, vice president, Legal/HR, the university leader assigned to serve as a one-on-one a mentor.
