Alexandria Mendez of Youngstown, Ohio, received a Bach of Science in Education degree in Early Childhood Education at Youngstown State University's Spring Commencement.

Nearly 1,200 students received associate, bachelor, master and doctorate degrees at the ceremony in Beeghly Center on the YSU campus.
